Inland Empire: Save your softener – through Facebook
Local government officials are still pushing to make it illegal for you to install a water softener in your own home. Now there’s a new way for you to stand up for your rights.
A new Facebook page will help you keep updated on the latest government moves and also give you a chance to voice your opposition to the softener ban.
Sign up at Save Our Soft Water — California. We’ll keep you posted on whether your city is moving forward with a ban, offer suggestions on how to fight it, and let you know about any crucial news on this issue.
Remember, if the softener ban takes place, you could find “wrench police” showing up at your doorstep with search warrants. And based on nearby experience, a ban won’t even solve the salinity problem.
This ban is nothing but an inadequate but very invasive answer to a real problem.
But the ban can be put in only if your city council gives a final approval. Let’s tell our local representatives: No softener ban – not in our town!
